Alex C. Bateman

As a Norfolk native whose family has lived in the area for generations, Alex C. Bateman holds a deep-rooted commitment to the betterment of the Hampton Roads community. Whether guiding clients through the formation of a small business, drafting complex contracts, or assisting with the development of an estate plan, Alex brings a unique blend of relational warmth, professionalism, and meticulous attention to detail.
Prior to obtaining his Juris Doctor from the Regent University School of Law and joining Hanger Law, Alex majored in Religious Studies and Organizational Leadership at William & Mary and later worked as a Medical Records Instructional Designer and Trainer for both Riverside and Sentara Health Systems. Alex’s diverse background has sharpened his critical thinking ability, honed his attention to detail, and equipped him to approach every situation with a distinct perspective.
Alex and his wife, Corrie, live in the Ocean View area of the City of Norfolk with their rambunctious daughter. In his spare time, Alex enjoys spending time with his family, being outside, and playing and watching soccer.
